MOAD Makes Mixtapes with Chris Dougnac

Create your own mixtape using your personal top-ten playlist during a music-based creative workshop led by artist Chris Dougnac. Using analog technology to live out their DJing dreams, participants learn how to rearrange and mash up music on a cassette tape. Dougnac also shares paper-folding techniques, which participants may use in the creation of J-card sleeves for their cassette’s jewel case.

Participants must bring a pair of earbuds and a premade playlist of ten songs on their preferred music app.

Please note that the event takes place at in the Wolfson Archives at MDC's Wolfson Campus, 300 NE 2nd Avenue, Building 8, 4th Floor.

Free parking is available in MDC's Wolfson Campus parking garage located at 500 NE 2nd Avenue.

    Light refreshments will be served.

Collage materials are provided by Bookleggers Library.
