The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College and MDC Special Collections are currently closed while the Freedom Tower undergoes necessary renovations. MOAD will continue in its mission as a Museum Without Boundaries, presenting offsite programming across the city. GOGO MOAD, our free children’s education program on the move will pop up at locations throughout Miami. Acknowledged as one of the best art museums to visit in Miami, the Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at Miami Dade College is located in the National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower in Downtown Miami. MOAD offers groundbreaking exhibitions and programs that aim to foster a reimagined Miami. As the flagship museum of Miami Dade College, MOAD follows the College’s lead in operating across Miami with its Museum Without Boundaries initiative, which takes place in city neighborhoods and invites everyone to be a part of the conversation.
MOAD participates in Miami-Dade County’s Golden Ticket program, providing free tickets to the arts for Miami-Dade County senior residents, age 62 and older. MOAD participates in the Institute of Museum and Library Services’ program Museums for All and offers free admission to those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits). Simply present your SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card and a valid form of photo ID at the admissions desk.
MOAD is located at MDC’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami, inside the historic Freedom Tower at 600 Biscayne Boulevard, across from the FTX Arena (formerly the American Airlines Arena).

Visitors to MOAD may park for free in the MDC garage at 500 NE Second Avenue, between NE Fifth and NE Sixth Streets (designated Building 7 on MDC's Wolfson Campus parking map). In addition, there are more than a dozen public parking lots around the Museum. Visit Miami Parking Authority to find parking lot addresses, hours, and rates.
