Pepe Mar: Myth & Magic explores the imaginative world of Pepe Mar, a contemporary artist celebrated for his vibrant fusion of mythology, queer identity, fashion, and folklore. Published in conjunction with a Tampa Museum of Art exhibition, the monograph features essays by leading curators and scholars—Lawrence Rinder, Evan Garza, Yuval Etgar, Amy Galpin, and Joanna Robotham—that illuminate Mar’s evolution as an artist. Joining Mar in conversation for this special event is Joanna Robotham, curator of modern and contemporary art at the Tampa Museum of Art.
This event is free to attend with your Freedom Tower or Miami Book Fair street fair admission ticket.
