We're Ready for Our Close-Up

Do you love the Freedom Tower? Do you make films? If you answered yes to these questions, then we have a proposition for you! MOAD, together with the Miami Film Festival and the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives, is looking for a filmmaker to make a short work about the Tower, its history, and its importance to our city and our country. The film will help celebrate the Freedom Tower’s long and storied history as a beacon of hope, opportunity, and freedom in Miami. That’s also the subject of a new, permanent exhibition that will occupy space in the building when it reopens in 2025!

From now until April 14, we are accepting proposals for the film. Three finalists will be selected to make short sample films and the winning proposal will receive funding and support.
