Please note that the Museum of Art and Design and MDC Special Collections are currently closed while the Freedom Tower undergoes renovations.

Interaction

Unless otherwise indicated, touching or tampering with artwork is strictly prohibited.

Strollers & Bags

Strollers and diaper bags are welcome at MOAD. Backpacks, shopping bags, and all other large bags are not allowed inside the galleries, but guests are welcome to drop them off at MOAD’s coat check, found at the Welcome Desk on the second floor. Staff members may refuse to accept other coat check items at their discretion, and MOAD is not responsible for items held at coat check. We are unable to store oversized bags or luggage.

Photography

Visitors are welcome to take non-flash photography for personal use, except where otherwise prohibited. Share your images on Instagram or Facebook and be sure to tag @moadmdc in your post.

MOAD reserves the right to photograph or videotape its events and public programs that occur both on and off property. Your attendance at an event or program grants us permission to use these photographs digitally and in print without limitation or compensation.

Food & Drink

Food and drink are not permitted in the galleries.
